Continuing the distinctive MiRIDER DNA, we’ve developed a bigger 20" wheel for a folding ebike that still keeps its compact credentials, and lightweight features, and boasts agile handling.The MiRiDER 20 has our enviable MiDRiVE^TMelectric drive system that can achieve upto 45 miles on a single charge, whilst offering the perfect blend of “boostable” fun.

MiRiDER 20 FOR EVERYDAY ADVENTURES

The MiRiDER 20 inch offers the best of both worlds for everyday adventures. As comfortable on a commute as it is on an action-packed leisure holiday, the striking looks and dynamic ride balance perfectly with it's compact fold for additional practicality. Like it's 16 inch sibling, the battery is located centrally within its modern frame design for superior weight distribution and handling. The integrated rear suspension maximises comfort and fun for those off-road pursuits.

COMPACT

With a height of just 62cm with the stem folded and a maximum width of just 52cm, the bicycle is easy to store at home, lift onto a motorhome or van rear cycle rack, or store in a motorhome garage.

Design

The 20 is designed around our philosophy of fun and dynamic values which meant keeping the weight low and the riding pleasure high. We achieved this by using a 20 inch wheel, shorter wheelbase and our enviable MiDRiVE^TMpower system. The geometry of the Magnesium Alloy frame allows great balance and control for a wide range of rider size and ability levels. By using clever componentry from our folding experience, the bike can quickly shrink in size for sector leading storage and transport with all the benefits of a full size experience.

PATENTED 3 SPEED GEARBOX

Our very own take on a geared bike. Rather than take the easy, traditional option of moving the hub motor to the front or middle and hanging a derailleur off the back, we wanted to be smarter than that. We wanted to retain the balance, weight distribution, efficiency and traction a rear wheel motor offers whilst avoiding a bulky and dirty gear set.

TRIO OF RATIOS

The 3 gears have been devised to offer a perfect selection; 1^st for climbing or riding without assistance, 2^nd for typical riding and 3^rd for cruising (or riding above the 15.5mph cut out)

INSTANT SHIFT

Enjoy instant shift that eradicates clunky gear changes associated with traditional derailleur systems. Any gear can be selected when stationary which means you are always ready to go!

DRIVE BELT

To enhance the unique gear system, we’ve added a Gates Carbon Drive belt system, which provides a quiet and smooth ride without the muck and oil!

It features a 105cm wheelbase and weighs only 21kg, making it stable, safe to ride, agile, and lightweight. It also has an incredible turning circle, making it easy to manoeuvre and store.

MiDRiVE^TM SYSTEM

The MiRiDER 20 is powered by the exclusive MiRiDER MiDRiVE^TMelectric drive system and a 7aH 252Wh battery that uses Samsung cells. The system can power the bike for up to 45 miles on a single charge via the 250w silent-running rear hub-mounted motor with riders utilising the clever software and ‘Boost control’ when needed. It can be recharged between 2.5 and 3 hours using the MiRiDER charger that is supplied as standard. The battery also has a lockable and removable unit.

MILES AND MILES

With the MiRiDER 20, expect an assisted range of up to 45 miles.

The battery itself has a 7 ah (252wh) capacity and is manufactured using genuine SAMSUNG cells. It is neatly concealed within the main frame, leading to excellent weight distribution and balance. If you need to remove the battery to charge it separately, or to switch it out on the go, access can be quickly gained with the key to unlock for security.

The 45 mile range is of course dependent on the rider’s weight, the weather conditions and the terrain met on the ride, as well as the relative effort the rider puts in.
